While we always strive to preserve trees whenever possible, these Holm Oaks had to be removed due to their roots damaging the retaining wall, posing a safety risk. Our team carefully dismantled the trees over three days and ground out the stumps on the fourth day. We employed various lowering techniques, utilizing both a cherry picker and climbing methods, to ensure the trees were taken down safely and efficiently
"The house I have recently purchased had four large holm oak trees growing close to a boundary wall. The roots of the trees were damaging the wall and a structural engineer’s report advised that the wall was at risk of failure, posing a serious health and safety issue. Mike visited the property and gave his advice on having the trees removed, including stump grinding. Mike dealt with the local authority planning department as the house is in a conservation area. The work was carried out on the agreed dates and I am very pleased with the result. Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful"
Throughout the project, we prioritized safety and efficiency. Our team utilized advanced rigging techniques and worked collaboratively to minimize disruption to the surrounding area. Each tree was carefully taken down, and we ensured that all materials were recycled
